Narikala was internal fortress that was surrounded by Tbilisi. When famous Tamerlan break through defence of Georgian forces, Georgian escape in Narikala, but soon were defeated by Tamerlans. Oldest library of Georgian history that was situated in Narikala was lost during this struggle. |
