Stroll through the narrow cobbled streets of the old quarter of Pezenas on a early evening, just as the light is beginning to fade, and you take a walk right back in time. There is an outstanding array of historic buildings, with areas of 16th & 17th century architecture.
The medieval quarter of Pezenas with its narrow cobbled streets has many shops occupied by craftsman and artists, and this area has been the backdrop for several costume dramas. |
